CLLR PETER CORBETT

Peter is to be our santa, suit is coming from community centre. Funds from community safety will fund two sets of goal posts for the west field. Council to offer tenants discounted contents insurance. Tenant moving back into maclenan cresent.

COUNCIL

Anti-social behaviour rules are being used to deal with drunk and abusive tenants, our community warden has taken a lot of statements etc. It was mentioned that drug dealing is taking place openly

REPAIR CO-ORDINATOR

Vic voiced again the lack of action from the council, he spoke to Steve about repairs and Steve agreed to some of the repairs but as of date these have not been carried out. Steve's boss John Maclusky has retired from post and his replacment started today. Hopefully he will look at improving the repair system. Also Louis Hannahnew new housing officer

TREASURER

We now have a balance of £541.68. Advetisement on A.G.M to be placed in courier. £43 spent on selection boxes and presents so far pram sold for £40 and £20 from tool club used to help finance the above.

POLICE

Drink/drive ops are continuing nov- 3 jan involving stop checks, clamp down on mobile phone use while driving. Various figures were stated for vandalism/drunk behaviour/housbreaking etc. A licencee was charged with suppling alchol to under age persons. Drug dealers targeted and quantity of drugs seized.

COMMUNITY WARDEN

Bill has met a lot of tenants on his patrols and has been dealing mainly with anti- social behaviour. Bill spoke of the positive seminar in the corbett centre.he is working with N.C.H on the youth side trying to work with kids from dalniegh/merkinch areas possibley put on workshops for them etc.

Child protection policy to be adopted. Dell already trained on this and has agrred to be responsible person for party everyone agreed a.g.m date set as 18 th january. Grace co-opted on to committee proposed by Ali and second by Vic
