Minutes previous meeting: Linda proposed minutes Ali seconded this.

Main Topic of Discussion: Fun day was discussed and we have decided on 5th of Aug if this is alright with the Council. How this was going to be dealt with was also discussed.

Police Report: It has been stated that there are more than 7 million air guns in the U.K. but there is going to be a massive crackdown on this.

The D.V.L.A untaxed vehicle's removal wagon has been in the area and took away a few cars.

Shoplifting and distribution of stolen goods are in the spotlight at the moment.

Several stolen bikes have been recovered there are also bikes which have been recovered waiting to be claimed.

£22,000 of Drugs have been recovered in INVERNESS(our city). The police also desperately need information on this you can phone confidential line or Crime Stoppers.

Our area has been very low on child and youth nuisance.

Council Report: Paul stated that he had put letters to all tenants with untidy gardens. C.C.T.V. may have to be installed in the reception of Craigton Avenue offices for safety reasons. There is to be a multi agency meeting at Craigton Ave onWed 8th to discuss Fun Day.

Lisa: £10000, is still available for any really good ideas.

Vic: Guttering are being cleared. The buildings the Cherry Picker could not reach will be done using ladders. No one has yet been found to replace Steve Gifford.

Treasurer's report: Balance Sheets were made available to everyone.

Peter Corbett: New Community Warden started work last week she is originally from the Merkinch area Liz Murray. There are changes to be made in how the Nursery School is run. It is now going to be used for three year olds. The four year olds will now be going up to Merkinch Primary School.
