Police: There was a small reduction on calls to Merkinch area this month, 459 compared to 540 last month there were 11 child/youth calls in our area, this being lower in number than Dalneigh and Culloden. Although we had 6 vandalism calls, also 8 drug related in all of Merkinch but not in South Kessock. Also slight drop in motorbike calls.

Flytipping has been reported on the bank opposite the lodge. Have been out on night patrol with PC Ali Macrae at the weekend would be quite happy to make this a regular occurance if neccesary. Have applied to community council for two traffic calming signs one for South Kessock one for Merkinch from lottery funding.

Matters Arising: Auto jumble is to be held at top of west field on sunday at 11 o'clock. Ideas were discussed for christmas party for children would we be able to get santa on a pony and trap. Ali Locke proposed we change days of our meeting to a Thursday instead of a Tuesday starting at 6.30 p.m. instead of 7 p.m. This was seconded by Raymond MacDonald. It was decided that Raymond would take over post of repair co-ordinator as from Vic Rawlins.
