Minutes of Meeting 1st March 2005

Minutes previous meeting: Proposed by Yvonne Stewart, seconded by Raymond Macdonald.

Matters arising: None.

Correspondence: Email from Ann Edwards to tell us she is heading up new Anti-Social team, but will continue in current post until replacement found.

Toolclub: Inventory needed, meet Sunday 13th 1 o'clock.

Repair co-ordinator: Vic, Ali, Peter. Head of maintenance, walked round estate checking the general state of the houses. It was noted that a survey was needed and it would be easier to count number of houses with nothing wrong. Years of underfunding and neglect, tenants not reporting running overflows etc has led to the terrible state of some properties.

Council: Paul stated that the fencing is an eyesore. Still awaiting doors for Rosehaugh Rd.

Lisa left some literature regarding grants, funding etc and also a letter confirming registration.

Treasurer report: No report.

Police: PC Ali Macrae had word with person parking on pavement now resolved. Meeting to take place regarding A.S.B.O. following court case, radar gun was in use, no one in Merkinch caught. Youth calls are bad in Hilton but very low in South Kessock.

Councilor report: Gutterings etc to be cleaned, 7th March Kessock Court North and South flats to be demolished.
Albyn housing to build new houses no plans as yet to type.

Environmental action week: This will take place on the 14-18th March. A clean up will take place and volunteers called for.

A.O.C.B. Ali asked Lisa if there was any funding available to buy a TFT screen for our pc, so that Yvonne could use the PC safely. Lisa would look in to the possiblies.
