Minutes of Meeting 1st February 2005

Minutes previous meeting: Proposed by Yvonne, seconded by Margaret Ross.

Matters arising: Vic sent letter to council regulator of taxi drivers regarding speed limits. PC Ali Macrae said 20mph are not enforceable.

Correspondence: None

Police: PC Ali gave us some stats including: 326 cars stopped and checked, radar gun will be used to catch speeding drivers, crash in Thornbush Rd due to drink driving, 3 drug busts with large amounts of money and Class A drugs recovered youth disorder very low in the area, Hilton 3-4 times more calls for youth disorder.

Repair coordinator: Same frustrations, Ali, Vic, Peter, Paul and Steve's new boss to having walkabout on the 14th February.

Council: Ali asked Paul about doors for rosehaugh and front road, Paul having emailed about these door on numerous occasions is going to keep chasing them up. Dog wardens have been busy in the area. There are 15 voids in area, 3 on offer, 1 major repair, and 1 waiting clear out. Now more voids in Dalneigh than South Kessock

Treasurer report: As A.G.M. detailed report to be presented every month from next month as Peter's recommendation.

A.O.C.B. Vic stated to police about people blocking pavements by parking on them no room for pedestrians. PC Ali will look into this. Ali stated that a date would need to be set for an inventory of the tool club.
