CRF Applications
The application process will be a means of collating information and dealing with any outstanding issues. It will address the question of whether a project is ready to go and when funding will be released. All applications will need details of outputs and outcomes.
Application reports:
ARTS IN MERKINCH - Project Officer Anne Sutherland
Proposal as planned. £30,000 requested over two years (£15k each year). Partner funding confirmed and some of 2006/07 funding received. Merkinch Enterprise prepared to continue to act as employer and book keeper and will produce separate accounting for funds. More work needs to be done to quantify output targets based on planned activity. Other funding has been confirmed and recruitment of new post underway. Likely to draw down funding after new appointment (July). Funding at 50% in July/August and 50% later.
SKEC WATERFRONT CENTRE - Project Officer Graham Strachan
Clear milestones to be developed in relation to Business Plan. Progress design and costings with THC. Construction cannot be commissioned until Lease and Revenue arrangements agreed.
SKEC BUSINESS PLAN - Project Officer - Anne Sutherland.
Develop Business Plan with SKEC Directors based on Feasibility Study. Set milestones and study/ capacity building programme. (Wider community involvement/consultation?) Meeting with Group to draw up programme of activities. Revenue funding available up to £10k this year up to £2,500 meantime. Merkinch Enterprise is managing finances meantime. Community Council holds £500 for SKEC.
MERKINCH COMMUNITY CENTRE - GYM HALL - Project Officer from Community Learning & Development.
Project proposal as approved - but there needs to be written agreement with THC over purchase, ownership, insurance, maintenance, and safe operation. Purchase through MCCA would incur VAT and perhaps confuse responsibility. Also needs to be discussion about MCCA Plans for staffing and relationship with Coordinator post. Copy of most recent accounts required. (Need to check to see if estimates still apply.)
MERKINCH COMMUNITY CENTRE - COMMUNITY VOICES
Agreement £500 or 50% which ever is lesser. Can Group contribute themselves - suggest other funding (Seeing is Believing). Specific benefits not clear. Is whole group necessary and why 2 overnights. Copy of most recent accounts required.
ESCAPE GROUP

MERKINCH ENTERPRISE
